Call is open for the award of 1 (one) Research Fellowship (BI) at UNINOVA - Institute for the Development of New Technologies within the scope of the ATLAS Project, funded by the INCM – Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda, for the development of R&D activities to be carried out by doctoral students or by graduates and masters enrolled in courses not leading to an academic degree, under the following conditions:

Area: Electrical and Computer Engineering

Recipient admission requirements /Profile:

  1. Be enrolled in a PhD or be a graduate and master enrolled in a non-academic degree course in the area of Engineering;
  2. Not exceed, with the conclusion of the scholarship contract in question, including possible renewals, a cumulative period of 4 (four) years if you are enrolled in a Doctorate and 1 (one) year if you are a master enrolled in a non-academic degree for this type of scholarship.
  3. Experienced in:
    1. Design of ICT frameworks in the context of digital transformation
    2. Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Cleaning, Data Visualisation and Data Pipeline (mandatory).
    3. Experience in working and developing Enterprise Software
    4. Knowledge and Professional Experience in Business Intelligence and in using C#, Java, Python, and TSQL
    5. The preparation and submission of proposals for national and international research projects. This is Mandatory.
    6. Participation in National and International research Projects.
    7. Organisation of Scientific Events.
    8. Societal Impact Assessment and Technology Public Assessment.
  4. Immediate availability.
  5. BSc in Electrical Engineering and Master in Information Management
  6. Fluent in English, written and spoken (Mandatory).
  7. Minimum Portuguese Language Level is A2.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidates who have obtained the degree abroad must have the degree recognized in Portugal, pursuant to Decree-Law No. 66/2018 of August 16th.
