The Regional Government of Madeira now provides the population with the "Holobalance" technology, which consists of specific equipment to promote personalized and motivational virtual training for patients and users with balance disorders.
Teh Holobalance technology consists on a balance training platform based on a personalized virtual hologram that will train, motivate and strengthen balance for all ages, especially for the elderly.
This initiative comes within the scope of the research project Smart Bear - Smart Data Platform that offers personalized evidence-based support for healthy and independent living at home. The project intends to provide intelligent technological solutions for the prevention and treatment of some comorbidities associated with aging and, in turn, to improve the quality of life of the elderly population.
