PHASE 1

    A study about the social implications, regarding the global impact which the paradigm of an extended enterprise may provoke in the labor relations.

    A feasibility study showing the architecture's potentialities. In the study some services will be proposed to support the required needs. An emphasis will be given to the services in the scope of Information Systems for food Industry, production, transformation and distribution scheduling and control of food market. The use of standards will be promoted.

    An evaluation of the work will be made in parallel, by means of a constant contact with interested industries - partners and other associated competitors, both for checking the possibility for technology transferring, and the suitability of the study and ideas in terms of real scenarios.

    Evaluation of additional benefits of an information network, namely in terms of education / training and dissemination of information on disease control.
