This report describes the cluster event organized by ESCN. The ESCN cluster event took place on March 24th 1998
at the Building and Research Establishment in Garston, Watford UK.
The date and location have been chosen in line with the PDTAG days 1998 and PPDM cluster project reviews in order
to allow a convenient way of attending these events.
The report addresses the organisation and scope aspects of the meeting, the presentations from the European Officers, Dr.

Latin America Companies and Universities (Brasil & Argentina), in order they could evaluate the benefits of this
type of standards.
