 1- DAMASCOS (IST-2000-11850)

Dynamic Forecast for Master Production Planning with Stock and Capacity Constraints.

The IST DAMASCOS project aims to design and develop an open platform providing adequate IT modules and mechanisms to manage Customized Supply Networks in a Virtual Enterprise scenario, while integrating the consumer and its demands. It addresses mainly small and medium size enterprises (SMEs), with a dominant vertically organization, in order to support them in the management and inter-operation of dynamic supply and value networks.

 2- MyFashion.eu (IST-2001-32560)

Added Value for the Consumer through Integrated, Extended Fashion Products.

The IST MyFashion.eu project aims to develop and validate an open platform that provides adequate information technology (IT) modules and mechanisms to dynamically configure and manage supply networks that are assembled in response to customer orders. MyFashion.eu is based on the idea of a consumer-driven production of tailor-made fashion products resulting in a one-piece flow of products in supply networks.

PS.: Negotiation with the CNPq (The Brazilian Council for Research and Scientific Development) is in its final phase.

 3- SMART-fm (IST/IMS-2001-52224)

A standards-compliant framework to support complete integrated product life-cycle information management and electronic commerce for the furniture manufacturing (fm) industry, in the advent of the smart enterprises.

The IMS SMART-fm project aims to stimulate and accelerate furniture-related companies in the advent of e-business, extended enterprises and intelligent services, to adopt technologies and practices preparing industry and researchers to advance on the state of the art, identifying requirements to move beyond and reach the future vision of furniture manufacturing business.

4- IFM

Institute Factory of Millenium

This Brazilian project aims at creating a cluster of integrated researches to support the development of the competitiveness of the national industry, focusing on:

Management of Cooperative networks and supply chain;

Management of Organizational transformation and Quality;

Innovation and Management of the Life Cycle of Products;

Manufacturing Processes and Industrial Automation.

This is a project under the “Institutes of Millenium”, the most recognized research program in Brazil nowadays as only groups of “excellence” can make part of it.
