RESUME
Pedro Sousa has a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Industrial Information Systems) from the New University of Lisbon in 2004 and a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same university in 1999. He has been lecturing in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon (FCT/UNL) since 1997. He is also an invited teacher for the Computer Science Phd program in Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. He was a member of the Management Board of the FCT/UNL, and is a Member of the General Assembly of the FCT/UNL. Since 1992 he has been collaborating with the Intelligent Robotics Centre at the UNINOVA Institute in the areas of E-commerce, Multi-agents and Knowledge Discovery. In the last 7 years, author of more than 40 R&D papers, amongst them 5 in International Journals and 32 in International Conferences with peer reviewing, and researching/coordinating in more than 10 European Union R&D projects.
