The Work-In-Progress (WIP) session will be devoted to the presentation of new and on-going projects in industrial and factory automation research and applications. The prime purpose of this session is to provide researchers an opportunity to discuss their evolving ideas and gather feedback thereon from the industrial and factory automation community at large.

Contributions to the special WIP session at 9th IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation are sought in:

Contributors to the WIP session will be asked to give a short presentation of their work and prepare a poster for the WIP discussion forum that will be held after the presentations. Also, accepted submissions will be included in the ETFA’2003 Proceedings which will be distributed to all conference participants.

Submissions to ETFA’2003 WIP session should describe original on-going work and should be prepared in the IEEE double column format, not exceeding 4 pages (instructions at submit papers page).
