TRAVEL INFORMATION
HOW TO REACH COSTA DA CAPARICA FROM THE AIRPORT – coming from the airport you have several options to reach Costa da Caparica. Because Costa da Caparica is on the south side of the Tejo river, the trip from the airport can be a little tricky (unless you use the taxi).
By TAXI – You can buy a TAXI Voucher to Costa da Caparica on the Tourism desk at the Lisbon airport (cost between 26.44 Euros – until 8.45PM and 31.72 Euros – after 8.45PM, weekends and holydays) or jump in a TAXI at the airport and pay directly to the driver (price might be lower but can also go higher depending on the traffic). The trip takes between 30 and 60 minutes (depending on the traffic).
By BUS/Boat/BUS –You must get a bus from the airport to Cais do Sodré (number 91), then take a Ferry to Cacilhas and finally a bus to Costa da Caparica. The total price we are not sure but it must be around 8 Euros. The trip takes between 90 and 120 minutes (very approximately).
By BUS/Train/BUS – You can take bus 91 to Entrecampos, than take the train to Pragal and finally a bus to Costa da Caparica. The price must be around 8 Euros. The trip takes between 60 and 90 minutes (very approximately).
By BUS/BUS – You can take bus 22 to Praça do Areeiro, than another bus to Costa da Caparica. The price must be around 6 Euros. The trip takes between 60 and 90 minutes (very approximately).
Please note that prices are indicative and the time for the trip is just a guess. It may vary largely depending on the hours, traffic, etc.
